my will

MY WILL

I will pluck fruit from trees
& eat juiciness while lying down
on earthly ground
I will swing my legs above water
Sitting on a rotting dock
I will join my eyes with the stars
& become one with millions
in another way
I will carve an inscription
In one redwood tree
And have my say
I will plant grass
Where there is only dirt
I will pet a flower
Though they cannot feel it
I will wait until I see
The clouds make their 360
Around the earth’s core, once more
I will grow a stripe of lillies
a stripe of daffodils
And a stripe of roses
And pose in front my flag of life
Smiling.
